Meet Sammy

Hi, I’m Sammy! I’m a 8-month old, 45-lb Labradoodle who is looking for a forever home that could use an affectionate, athletic, adventurous guy like me.

General Behavior: Sammy is a typical puppy: he loves to play and then enjoys taking a nap. He loves all people and other dogs. At the end of a long day of playing and love, he sleeps through the night in his dog bed.

Likes & Dislikes: This sweet pup loves everyone he meets, so he is bound to love you, too. In addtion to spending time with his people, Sammy loves playing fetch, running around the yard, going on walks, and playing with toys: the more the merrier.  

Training:  Sammy is a smart cookie! He is very food-motivated and although he is a young pup, he already knows "sit"! He is housetrained if let out frequently. As a young dog, he will need someone who will keep working with him on his manners: He needs to work on his manners as he does jump for attention and he needs more practice leash walking.

Medical:  Sammy is a healthy boy! He will just needs his monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog.

Other Animals: This gregarious guy is good with other large dogs—particularly playful dogs—and even cats!

Children: Sammy has yet to be observed around children.

Home: This easy-going guy would do well in an apartment, condo, or single-family home.

Grooming: As a short-haired guy, Sammy will need regular baths and brushing. Since he is a Labradoodle, an occasional professional grooming will also be in order for this boy.

Overall: Sammy will make a wonderful companion for a family how can raise him, train him, and love him forever.
