This lesson covers the importance of socializing your pup and what ages are ideal for implementing different socialization strategies. We also provide tips on how to successfully mingle your dog with other canines and humans.
Basic obedience training is a fundamental part of dog confidence. This lesson covers the importance of this training and provides instructions on how to perform obedience commands such as “sit”, “stay”, and “heel”.
Games are a fun and productive way to boost your dog’s confidence. In this module, we provide five different confidence-building games you can try. We also cover how to teach basic dog tricks like “speak” or “roll over”.
Dogs that develop unhealthy anxieties or obsessions can benefit greatly from desensitization and counterconditioning. In this lesson, we explain these two techniques and how to apply them to your dog’s behavior. We conclude with tips for putting together a desensitization and counterconditioning program.
