In this course, we cover what causes barking, how to identify different types of barks, and how you can use reward-based training to stop excessive barking for good. We’ll also cover the importance of recognizing triggers, reading your dog’s body language and how to use counter-conditioning and desensitization techniques.

This course has several lessons, each with a progress exam and most with supplemental learning materials, such as videos, illustrations, and/or downloadables.

This module introduces the reasons why dogs bark, what different barks mean, and what situational and environmental influences can influence this behavior.

Having covered the ins and outs of how to recognize different barks and read canine body language, this module is about how to manage this behavior. The first step in this process is to identify what type of bark your dog is expressing and then consider where it happened and why. 

This module covers the importance of exercise and routine and the role they play not only in a well-adjusted dog, but also in preventing behavioral issues. We also introduce games and activities that can keep your dog calm.

This module provides a review of the previous five lessons and re-visits key points about techniques and tools to stop your dog from barking excessively.
