Syllabus

This course has several lessons, each with a progress exam and most with supplemental learning materials, such as videos, illustrations, and/or downloadables.

This module covers the root causes of reactivity and how it can occur. This includes the different types of reactivity, what the signs are and how to differentiate this behavior from aggression.

As well as helping your dog stay calm during a reactive episode, it’s important to become attuned to their body language. In this module, we cover what canine body language looks like and what the different cues mean when it comes to stress and reactivity.

Curving reactivity and other behaviors is an ongoing activity, one that requires regular exercise, routines, training, and tasks that keep your dog calm and focused. This lesson explores the importance of these elements, including how to use counter-conditioning and desensitization in order to curve reactivity.

This module reviews all the previous lessons on reactivity and provides a summary exam.
