Meet Russell

Meet handsome 12 week old Russell. This adorable rottie boy joined our rescue after being abandoned at the shelter’s sister station in belleglade with an eye injury at just 5 weeks old, anemic and emaciated, full of parasites. Now that he has been in rescue, Russell has flourished and has a clean bill of health. He does have a clouded eye that he can not see out of but the eye specialist we brought him to said there is no reason to remove it. Russell is only happy boy who is so very eager to learn and catches on quick. He learned sit and place in a matter of 5 minutes with clicker training and we continue to work on it with him. Russell is great with other dogs, takes queues wonderfully and we are looking to place him with a breed Savy home who will continue to socialize him and train him. Russell will be neutered prior to completion of adoption at the expense of our rescue, with our veterinarian,
