Meet Your Future Best Friend – From Rainy Streets to Radiant Hope ??

Hi there! My name hasn’t been officially decided yet, but “Handsome” seems to be sticking—everyone calls me that, and who am I to argue?

Not long ago, I was found curled up in a puddle on the doorstep of a business during a rainstorm. I was soaked, cold, and trying to sleep. That’s when a kind police officer stepped in and changed my life. I got scooped up and quickly made my way to the wonderful folks at NEBTR (that’s Northeast Boston Terrier Rescue, in case you’re new here).

I stayed briefly with a temporary foster who noticed my skin was in rough shape—but wow, did she help me start to heal fast! Now I’m in a loving foster home, getting better every single day.

I’m a quiet soul—gentle, easygoing, and never one to stir up trouble. I’m a lover, not a fighter (seriously). I’ve got doggy friends around me now, but I’m still finding my confidence when it comes to playtime. I do love being outside and would really thrive in a home with a secure yard where I can roam and enjoy nature. Oh, and did I mention I have a soft spot for tennis balls? ?

What I’m Looking For:

• A forever home (no more puddles for me, please ??)
• A yard where I can explore and relax
• Other dogs? Sure! I get along with both big and small, but I tend to mind my own business unless I get to know them better. We don’t know about cats
• no children for me, I react to fast to stimulation
• I’m doing great health-wise, but I still need baths every other day as my skin continues to improve (my vet says my hair is growing back faster than she’s ever seen!)

I could wait around in foster care until I’m “perfect,” but honestly? I’m ready to bond. I’m ready for love, stability, and my happily-ever-after.
