Meet Apricot
Apricot is a very dignified funny little female puppy. She is athletic and curious, and loves to explore the world around her. She is friendly, loyal, and quiet, but also loves to make new friends. She has been described as very smart and a fast learner and is good with other dogs. She is a baby now, but promises to grow into a very loyal companion.
There are so many sad stories with animals these days, but we feel she was saved none too soon. Our fosters spotted a homeless encampment in which one of the occupants had Apricot. He was slapping her in the face repeatedly. The volunteers offered $25 for her, and the homeless man states this is how we treat our dogs in Hawaii and handed over Apricot.
She is the most petite little dog of 25 lbs approximately. She s a little wary at first, but in a couple of days becomes happy that she has a place to lay her head without getting slapped and not getting eaten to pieces by bugs throughout the long night.
She will need some help with potty training but that is to be expected with the life she has had so far. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped.
