albie

Meet Albie, an adult neutered male small chihuahua mix! He is about 6 yrs old and weighs 13 lbs. Albie arrived in CT on 10/3 and is settling in great with his foster! We are accepting applications for him now!

His foster said, "This is Albie, he is estimated to be between 5 and 7 years old. He came to us as a stray with hardly any hair but with proper care, it has been growing back well. He has turned out to be the sweetest little guy! He enjoys lap time and car rides. He is completely housebroken and crate trained. He does good on a leash, he loves cuddles and snuggies and he will lay on his back and look up at you upside down with admiration!!! He is precious! Albie is good with dogs and cats. He loves to sleep with you."

Albie is medically up to date and neutered. Apply to meet this special pup today!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
