Meet logan

Meet Logan, an adult (approx. 5.5 years old) male Min Pin, weighing about 25 lbs! Logan came to us as a local CT surrender who was relinquished to PRL when his owner was no longer able to care for him.

From Logan's foster:

"Logan is very independent, has a high prey drive (loves squeakers), loves to dig (including under fences), is very agile (can clear 2ft fences), cuddles on his terms, but also demands lap time fairly often.  He is mostly submissive to my dogs, and overall is indifferent to them, though sometimes will engage in play.  My favorite thing he does it walk up to me and push his face into me for affection.

Logan can be possessive of things that are considered a “high value treat”, so he would not be suitable for a home with young children. I think he’d be comfortable in a house by himself, or with other, more submissive dogs.  He was fine with my cat.

The perfect owner for Logan would need to treat him with the patience and respect he deserves, and a lot of reward will come from that."

Logan is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. He is awaiting a neuter appointment. Apply to meet this special pup today!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
