Meet archie (august 2026)
Meet Archie — A Senior Boy Looking for His Forever Home Archie is a sweet senior dachshund mix estimated to be around 12 years old, and he’s hoping someone will give him the loving, peaceful retirement he deserves.Archie has had a rough start in life. He was found as a stray, and despite everything he’s been through, he still has plenty of love to give. At his age, Archie needs a little extra patience and care. He has some arthritis in his back legs and moves at a slower pace. His eyesight and hearing aren’t what they used to be, and he sometimes has accidents because his bladder doesn’t hold as well as it once did. He is crate trained and is a good eater. One of Archie’s favorite things? Long, slow walks where he can take his time sniffing and enjoying the world around him. Cat friendly Crate trained Good eater Enjoys slow, leisurely walks Sweet senior who deserves a second chanceArchie isn’t looking for an adventurous life or a perfect home. He’s looking for a forever family who will be patient with him, understand his senior needs, and love him through his golden years. After a rough life and being left to fend for himself, Archie deserves to finally know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and home. If you have room in your heart for a senior boy who just wants to be loved and cared for, please consider giving Archie the forever home he’s been waiting for. Please share Archie’s story.
