Ah, ha, ha, ha… STAYIN’ ALIVE, STAYIN’ ALIVE!

*When thinking of the soundtrack to this sweet boy - his foster mom immediately said she sees the pep in his step and sings "Stayin' Alive" as he hops down the road on his walks! She feels like this is the perfect track to describe Snoopy's approach to life so we could not help but make it the theme to his adoption bio!

Meet Snoopy — 16 years young and still stayin’ alive!

Somebody cue the Bee Gees, because Snoopy would like everyone to know that age is just a number — and this little guy still has plenty of pep in his step, love in his heart, and snuggles left to give.

Snoopy is a 16-year-old Beagle/Dachshund mix who was found as a stray and eventually surrendered to a local shelter. We don’t know how a sweet senior gentleman like Snoopy ended up without a family, but we do know one thing: he is nowhere near finished enjoying life.

Stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive…

Snoopy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and especially enjoys having a calm canine companion around. And don’t let his small stature fool you — the bigger dogs in the neighborhood don’t intimidate this confident little senior one bit!

People? Snoopy LOVES them. Young, old, and everyone in between. But what Snoopy really wants is his person. Once he chooses you, prepare to have a four-legged shadow following you from room to room. His favorite place of all? In your arms. Snoopy absolutely loves being held and soaking up every bit of affection he can get.

Outside, Snoopy still walks with an adorable spring in his step and happily trots along enjoying the world around him — although, at 16, he respectfully requests that we skip the hot-weather adventures. He has standards, after all.

Now, Snoopy does come with one senior-gentleman quirk: he isn't always the best at remembering that marking is an outdoor activity. He wears a belly band inside, which makes this little issue incredibly easy to manage. A belly band is a pretty small trade-off for getting to share your home with this much sweetness.

Snoopy isn't looking for someone to feel sorry for him because he's 16.

He's looking for someone who understands that 16 can still mean happy walks, warm laps, canine friendships, kisses, cuddles, and waking up every morning excited to spend another day with your favorite human.

Snoopy may be a senior, but this little guy is very clearly…
