Mocha & Bear may not have the most obvious name pairing on paper, but spend a little time with these two sweet, scruffy best friends and you'll quickly realize they’re a perfect match. Mocha & Bear have spent their entire lives together, and now they’re looking for a home where they can continue their next chapter side by side... and with you!

These two are gentle, affectionate, and incredibly sweet, with just enough personality differences to make them an especially fun dynamic duo. They may be a little shy when first meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, but once they feel comfortable, their personalities really shine. And with each other there to provide a little extra confidence, they’re never far from finding their happy place!

If Mocha had her way, she'd spend approximately 100% of her day being loved on. She is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet and absolutely adores pets, cuddles, and being close to her people. She'll happily be held all day long, pausing only briefly for something equally important—like a little lick of peanut butter! Mocha is so affection-motivated that if you slow down or stop petting her, she may actually try to move your hand back onto her head. It's hard to imagine a more adorable way of saying, "Excuse me, I believe you were petting me."

Bear, meanwhile, is a wonderful balance to Mocha's affectionate nature. He's super friendly, easygoing, and perfectly happy to lounge nearby and enjoy being around his people. He's also a curious little explorer who can get completely absorbed in his own world while sniffing and investigating his surroundings. But when he's ready for some attention, he'll snap right out of explorer mode and come looking for pets. When he's sleepy, he loves nothing more than a good cuddle; when he's excited, he's ready for pets, scratches, and whatever fun might be happening next.

Together, Mocha & Bear have a lovely balance of playful energy and relaxed companionship. They enjoy going for walks, chasing after a ball, and playing chase and tag with each other. They also have plenty of experience enjoying the quieter side of life and are just as happy to settle down and lounge with their people after they've had their fun.

Their former family had nothing but wonderful things to say about them, and these two have a lot going for them. They've lived successfully with dogs, cats, small animals, and people of all ages. They're described as generally well-mannered around the house, know a variety of commands, are reportedly mostly house trained, and are comfortable spending time home alone. Each has also had experience being in their own crate, where they've slept independently.

Mocha & Bear may be different, but they both agree that life is better when they're together! If you're looking for a bonded pair who will bring twice the sweetness, twice the personality, and more than twice the cuddles into your life, Mocha & Bear are ready to meet you.

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it’s not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.
