Strawberry Short King is proof that sometimes the best things in life come in a low-riding package. True to his royal title, Strawberry Short King may be a pocket-sized gentleman, but his heart is absolutely larger than life!

He was recently found as a stray, so we don't know much about his past, and we're still getting to know all of the wonderful layers of his personality. But so far this little king has been winning over hearts everywhere he goes! Strawberry Short King seems to believe that everyone he meets is just a friend he hasn't met... or snuggled yet. He's incredibly affectionate and always ready to hand out love in every form imaginable—whether that's enthusiastically bonking you with his delightfully oversized blockhead (since he hasn't quite realized how much head he's actually working with), melting into the coziest cuddle sessions, happily soaking up pets and scritches, or gently placing a paw on you to politely request that, actually, they should continue. If you oblige, you'll likely be rewarded with sweet little nuzzles and the kind of adoring look that makes you wonder if you should actually get out of bed.

So far Strawberry Short King also been a very polite walking buddy, and while we haven't seen him in a home environment just yet, everything about him suggests that he's ready to become someone's ultimate best friend. Whether your ideal day involves adventures around the neighborhood or marathon snuggle sessions on the couch, he seems more than happy to be your loyal sidekick—and perhaps your very own personal weighted blanket!

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it’s not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.
