Meet scooby
Scooby is a 2-year-old pit bull mix that we took in, and he’s been a really loving, loyal dog. Once he gets comfortable with you, he’s super affectionate and craves constant affection.
He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come, and he is fully potty trained.
Recently, we’ve been dealing with a mouse issue in our home, and it’s caused a lot of anxiety for him. During two separate high-stress situations involving mice, he did bite—both were single punctures and didn’t require medical attention. They happened during sudden, chaotic moments, not out of nowhere.
Because of that, and out of caution, we’ve been keeping him separate from our kids and other pets. We’re also dealing with a child allergy, so we can’t safely keep him long term.
Scooby would do best in an adult-only home with someone experienced who can give him a calm environment and continue working with him. He really does have a sweet side and a lot of potential in the right setting.
