Quinny is a friendly dog who is eager to please. She is very sweet, and according to our volunteers, she already knows how to sit! Quinny is a higher energy girl who enjoys chasing a ball in the yard, and is dog friendly. She loves to hang out with people and enjoys getting attention.

She can be a bit enthusiastic when treats are involved. Who isn't?!

Volunteer 2/12: Was front and center, happy to come out. Sits so nicely . Higher energy girl , chasing ball in yard, dog friendly. Very sweet girl

02/06/2026:
Kennel Presentation:Quinny was at the front of the kennel when I approached and greeted me with soft eyes, a high fast wagging tail, and a very wiggly body. She allowed me to open the kennel door and jumped up with two front paws when I attempted to leash her. She allowed me to slip the leash over her head easily and came out quickly to follow me out of the kennels.Leash Skills:On leash, Quinn was easily steerable but pulled hard as we walked but isn't overly strong so is generally easy to manage. She tends to gravitate towards areas where there is food or potentially may be food, and will jump up on carts or tables looking for leftover treats. Sociability:Quinn did not seek out interaction with her handler other than sniffing for treats. She did allow handling all over her body, legs, and face. When handed treats she can be incredibly snatchy so care should be takenPlay:Quinn would chase toys when tossed but did not pick them up and did not show interest in interacting with her handler in play.Dog Interaction:Did not do.Return to Kennel:Quinn was easy to return to her kennel and allowed her leash to be removed without issue. Color Level: Experienced Gold for hard pulling and snatchy with treats.Recommendations and considerations: Be mindful when providing treats or when near food, especially with other dogs.

02/01/2026:
1/31/26 10:00pm very sweet, walked right up to me and allowed leashing, jumped right into the truck. pulls moderately on leash. very sweet girl

02/01/2026:
I took Quinny into the dispatch office to hang out with me for a little bit, she sniffed around with a loose body, looking for crumbs to eat, tried diving in the trashcan for food. I was able to redirect her with baby talk, she climbed up on my leg and rested her head on it, soliciting pets and whining a little bit when i stopped. When I went to return her, I had a volunteer hold her while I cleaned her crate, and the volunteer worked on sit with her. She is very good at it, appears to be very trainable.
