Meet onyx
I am what everyone calls an "Illustrious Arkansas Onyx Hound". My breed is rare and sought after according to my foster mom. She told me that I am special because I am my own "breed" because she has never seen a dog my color. She said I am stunning and have a special ability to blend seamlessly into the shadows. It's probably why I can hide from her at night. I am pretty sure though that she says all of this so I don't feel bad she doesn't really know what I am.
I don't know what this means either but she says I am fiery and have a big personality! I may be the smallest in my pack but I am pretty sure that I am in charge. She also says that I super independent and she loves that I love to snuggle with her. She also finds it funny that when my siblings and I nap, I love to be at the bottom of the pile under all of my siblings.
We are all getting big so I don't know how much longer I can handle the weight of them all. I think I like to be at the bottom of the pile because I can hide sort of like when I hide in the shadows to be silly.
I am proud to say I am a loving, independent diva that is ready for her forever home because I am ready to get more attention since my siblings like to steal the show! I promise to be the best dog ever and love you to the moon!
