Meet mouse
Mouse is a 4.5 year old great pyrenees mix (50% Pyr) and weighs 65 pounds. He is house trained, has been on numerous long car rides, long hikes, 5 mile moderate runs, and has gone through training to improve his recall (only needs work when there are really high stimulants like other dogs around). He does great as a running/walking partner and knows the "heel" command along with sit/down, leave it, yes/no, and "out the kitchen." He is crate trained. While he has undergone training he resource guards (against dogs), which is why he needs a new home as my wife and I have two young children and can't take the chance for him to resource guard against them if he views them as competition.
We love Mouse and are only doing this as our last resort. We know Mouse is a great dog and will bring joy to another person's life. We so desperately wish we could keep him. He needs to be in a house with no other animals and no young children (12+ if kids).
