Meet cricket
I never thought I would have to make this post, but I’m looking for a new home for my 6-year-old shepherd/retriever mix, Cricket. He is about 80lbs, neutered, and will be up to date on his vaccinations on the 17th. He is incredibly loving, loyal, goofy, affectionate, and has been a huge part of my life. He loves his people, enjoys attention, and has so much love to give. Unfortunately, after a recent incident with another dog in our home that resulted in an injury, I’ve had to make the difficult decision that our current living situation is no longer the right fit for him. Combined with my frequent work travel, I don’t feel it’s fair to him or the other dogs to continue managing a situation that isn’t working. With this, I believe he would do best in a home where he can be the only pet or with someone experienced in managing dog-to-dog interactions. He has never been a dog I worried about with his people, and this decision is being made out of love and a desire to give him more.
