Meet Manny!
This gentle giant believes he is a lap dog. Manny, a 2-year-old English Mastiff who is ready to turn your home into his playground.
Manny is a big, goofy boy who loves toys, playing in water, and especially his soccer ball. He is housetrained, does not chew on belongings, and is food motivated, which makes training a treat. he does know some basic commands. He also has two sides to his personality. One minute he is a giant ball of puppy-like energy, and the next he is a giant couch potato ready to relax.
Manny is super friendly and good with other dogs, but his excitement and size can become overwhelming fast. He is very strong and still working on not jumping on people, so he needs an experienced handler and an assertive owner who can set clear boundaries.
Right now, Manny is on medication for his ears, which were gunked up and in need of some care. He loves being handled, but he does not enjoy his ear meds because of the pain he is in. That is why he is available as a foster to adopt. Once he is healed up, he can be adopted.
Manny is available to meet by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website. Once your application is approved, reach back out to us to schedule your visit. Visits are available between 11am and 4pm, Tuesday through Sunday.
