miss bea

Miss Bea is a 3-year-old Terrier who may have the looks of a terrier, but we like to call her a certified pre-owned couch potato!

This girl knows how to appreciate the finer things in life, like a cozy couch, a good nap, and snoozing right next to her favorite person. If you're looking for a companion who will happily spend a lazy day lounging by your side, Miss Bea is your girl!

But don't let her love of comfort fool you. Miss Bea is also a fan of walks, and we think she would really benefit from having a consistent daily routine. We've also heard she enjoys a good game of fetch, even if she hasn't shown off those skills here at the shelter just yet!

Miss Bea is housetrained and has experience living with both cats and other dogs, making her a great candidate for a home with furry friends. As with any adoption, slow and thoughtful introductions will help set everyone up for success.

Miss Bea is currently receiving treatment for Lyme disease. Adopters should know that she may continue to test positive for Lyme disease in the future. A positive test alone does not mean she will need additional treatment, though treatment may be necessary if she develops clinical signs or symptoms. The good news is that she has no activity restrictions and can enjoy her normal activities while taking her prescribed medication.

If your ideal day includes a little fresh air, a few walks, and plenty of couch cuddles, Miss Bea could be your perfect match! She's ready to find a home where she can settle into a routine, feel safe and loved, and enjoy all the cozy comforts life has to offer.

If you're looking to meet Miss Bea, please submit an adoption application. Once your application has been approved, please schedule an appointment to meet her. Miss Bea would love to meet you!
