Meet Patch!

Patch is a happy, playful, cuddly puppy who brings a little extra joy wherever he goes! We think this handsome boy may have some Great Dane in his mix, so he could grow into quite the big guy. But right now, he’s a sweet, smart pup figuring out the world and soaking up all the love he can get.

Patch has the perfect combination of playful puppy energy and a serious appreciation for snuggles. He loves being outside in the sunshine, showing off his impressive stick-finding skills, and chewing on his favorite finds while navigating the teething stage. But when playtime is over, he’s happiest flopping right into your lap and falling asleep within seconds.

This clever boy is already making fantastic progress with his training! He’s learned “sit,” is working on “leave it,” and is practicing keeping all four paws on the ground when meeting new people and waiting for his meals. He’s very food-motivated, making him an eager student who loves learning alongside his people. He’s also doing wonderfully with potty training and has had no accidents in his foster home!

Patch is a great walking companion, staying close to his person as he explores the neighborhood. He may bark to alert you when he spots another dog, but he settles quickly, and his foster is working with him on “watch me” to help redirect his attention. He’s also been socializing daily and making friends with both two-legged and four-legged companions!

At home, Patch is doing great with his kennel overnight and when left alone for a few hours, settling in quietly with just a little encouragement. He’s off to an amazing start and would love a family excited to continue his training, encourage his curiosity, and help him grow into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be.

If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate puppy who’s eager to learn, loves a little adventure, and will happily melt into your lap for a cuddle, Patch might just be your guy!
