Meet howard
Howard is a sweet 5-year-old boy. He loves women and kids of all ages but can be a little cautious around some men and may need a few treats (and a little patience) before he decides they’re his new best friend. He does have some allergies, but they are well controlled with medication and don’t stop him from enjoying life to the fullest. He especially loves hiking, exploring, and getting out into the wilderness with his people. He would benefit from continued work on his leash manners, and he is dog reactive and can initially be aggressive toward other dogs. He needs slow, calm, and patient introductions rather than being thrown into social situations. With the right approach and time to build trust, he has shown that he can eventually get along with other dogs.he is looking for a patient person or family to give him the structure, guidance, and love he needs to thrive.
