Meet praline
Praline rode to her foster home leaning over the front seat with her chin on the shoulder of the person up front, and she stayed right there for every head scratch she could get.
She is a black and tan bulldog mix, around 37 pounds, with tan eyebrows, a white stripe down her nose, and two big ears that do not always agree on which way to point. She came to Petersburg Animal Care and Control as an owner surrender and went into a foster home the next week. She is spayed, house trained, crate trained, and microchipped.
Praline is very sweet and very affectionate, and she wants to be wherever her people are. She has lived with kids of all ages, and she has been friendly with the dogs she has met so far. She already knows her crate, which makes the first weeks in a new house easier on everyone.
One thing we do not know yet. Praline has not been around cats that we know of, so we cannot tell you how she would do living with one.
Praline is living in a foster home, so visits with her are set up by appointment. Email us at adoptpetersburg@gmail.com to arrange one or to learn more today.
