MEET EMPRESS!
Believe it or not, this beautiful and vibrant girl is 13 years old! Empress joined the rescue in her golden years due to a lack of accessible pet-friendly housing. Fortunately, Empress was able to bypass the shelter-system altogether and is currently in foster care while she waits to find the home of her dreams.
Empress is currently living in foster care with adults, teens, cats, and even some foster kittens! She was a little excited to meet baby kittens but more like she’s never seen them and is happy to try to groom them. While not living with them currently, she has done well in dog meets and would likely do well with other low-key dogs like herself after an appropriate introduction. Empress has met several kids and new people and is happy to interact and loves attention. In her foster home, you’ll usually find her next to one of her humans. She also loves to stroll around the neighborhood and is happy to entertain herself with toys and hasn’t found a plush that she doesn’t love to destroy (she’s not at all destructive otherwise). Empress is housebroken and crate trained.
Empress has received a veterinary tune-up since coming to the shelter including receiving a dental cleaning and extractions. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and has received a clean bill of health.
Empress is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. Interested in adopting her? Visit cityofelderlylove.org to complete an online adoption questionnaire!
