Have you been looking for a dog who has has it all-looks, charm & a medium energy level? Betty is your girl. This poodle mix is approximately 5 years old and has been a joy in her foster home. She has beautiful black eyes that make it look like she's got her eyeliner routine down.

Betty came into resuce with two other 'sibling' dogs who she has relied heavily on, while learning how to be a pup! She is now ready to find a loving home of her own and bring endless joy to her forever family. She would do well with respectful children and many different family dynamics.

She has been working hard on potty training and will need continued support in her new home to keep up on her learned skills. It is clear that Betty is not used to free roaming in a yard and is only used to leash walks. She is very hesitant to step into grass on her own but when connected to a leash, she will potty right away.

Betty is crated during the day and will go into her crate willing with a treat. Don't even get us started on toys. She is completely obsessed with toys and will occupy herself for hours playing.

Betty is not currently fosted with cats but may be successful with slow instructions. She has shown a lot of interest towards Guinea pigs and other small rodents, so we do not recommend her to have access to these types of animals. She has been wonderful with other dogs within the household.

Betty has been a fantastic dog who wants a family to adore her. She was shaved down to deal with skin issues from her past experiences but her coat is growing back nicely. She could use consistent grooming for her fur type.

ADOPTION PROCESS
1. Review our adoption contract and application.

2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling.

3. Complete adoption application and submit following appropriate link below:

It takes us about 1-3 days to process applications. Once approved, we ask that all members of the household (including dogs) be available for meeting the animal within 3 days. If the meeting goes well, you will submit payment electronically and be able to take your new family member home with you immediately! If for whatever reason you do not take the animal home after the first meeting, please understand that we will continue to process applications for the animal and availability is not guaranteed.
