Meet Dolly! 🩷

Every once in a while, a dog comes along that makes it really hard not to fall in love with them. Dolly is one of those dogs.

Dolly came to Animal Angels Network after being found as a stray. We don't know what her life looked like before she was found, but we do know what we want the rest of it to look like — safe, loved, spoiled, and home.

Dolly is believed to be a Dachsador (Dachshund/Labrador Retriever mix), and she has turned out to be such a wonderful little dog.

She is completely house trained and has never had an accident in her foster home. When she needs to go outside, she goes right to the door to let you know.

Dolly walks on a leash, but she also LOVES to run and play outside. She's been very good about coming back when her foster whistles for her, and she's currently learning how to fetch.

She does excellent with other dogs and would be very happy to have some canine friends. Her foster home also has four cats. Dolly is definitely curious about them and would love to get close enough to investigate, but she doesn't chase them.

She's a smart girl and already knows sit, and they're working on stay. And if you have snacks? You've definitely got Dolly's attention. 😂 She's very food motivated, which has made training her pretty easy.

As long as she has a toy or a bone to keep her occupied, she doesn't tend to bother much. That being said, Dolly is nosey. She wants to know what you're doing, where you're going, what you have, and whether or not it concerns her. 😂

At the end of the day, give her some playtime before bed and she's happy to settle onto her bed and sleep through the night.

But probably our favorite thing about Dolly is how much she loves people. She loves attention from just about anyone and really just wants to be included. She's happy playing outside, hanging out inside, or being wherever her people are.

Dolly started her story with us as a stray, and we really want to make sure that the next home she goes to is the one she never has to leave. We've grown pretty attached to this girl, so we're going to be a little picky about finding her the family she deserves. 🩷

Dolly's adoption fee is $450. She is fully vetted, and her adoption fee helps cover the veterinary care we've provided for her while also allowing Animal Angels Network to continue helping the next dog who needs us.

As with all of our Angels, Dolly will be placed through our Foster-to-Adopt program, so her potential family will have time to make sure everyone is the right fit.

If you've been waiting for a sweet, playful, slightly nosey little best friend to join your family, Dolly might just be your girl. 🐾
