🐈 Cat-friendly 🐈

Ted is just sweet as pie 🥧, and he’s the kind of dog who 💯embodies that line about dogs being your best friend 👯‍♂️. At 1 year old, he gets a fresh start, after beginning his little life in a hoarding situation. He’s a 30-pound, mixed breed boy, whose ears are a whole mood. He has an ear expression 🦇 for literally every moment and emotion 😊.

He has quickly learned that being a dog is pretty awesome! And that it’s really easy to make friends with people. He doesn’t bark a lot or jump up – he just shows up for you, time and again.
Ted is very friendly 😀 and loves to follow you around the house. 🐾 His favorite days include playing with his K9 brother, zooming around the back yard together 🏡, then lounging with his humans. He is solid, supportive company, who also likes to make time for wrestling matches. You know, like you do 💁‍♂️.

For getting a late start in life, Ted has really learned a lot! He already knows how to sit, lay down, and is kennel trained (he also sleeps peacefully in it at night with no issues). He’s eager on the leash and can’t wait to get to the next place 🍃 when you’re walking. He hops right into the car to go places and is a great passenger. And, in addition to loving other dogs, he’s a friend to the felines 🤓!

Ted has come so far in his foster home, you’ll have no idea when you meet him that he wasn’t always someone’s special, well-loved boy 🥺. He isn’t so sure about toys yet, so you’ll have the opportunity to try them all out and see which ones he might like! He's doing really well at potty training and will avoid accidents if he goes out regularly 🐶.

Kids that understand he might need space in the beginning would probably be ok, but maybe not really small kids, since he doesn’t have experience with them. A confident K9 sibling would give Ted a wrestle mate 🤼‍♂️, but isn’t required.

It’s time for Ted to get his time to shine 🌞, in a home where he’ll receive the love and appreciation he deserves. He wants nothing more than to be the BEST DOG 🏆 for you!

Ted’s adoption fee is $225 and includes his neutering, vaccinations, microchip, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Approved adopters will be contacted to schedule a meet-and-greet.
