Meet panda
Panda is such a sweetheart. She's a bully mix, around three years old, and weighs about 50 pounds. And just look at her adorable face!
Panda came from a tough situation. She was stuck on a three-foot chain no matter the weather, since the day she was born. Coming to the shelter at City of Raytown Animal Services was the first time she's ever had the luxury of living inside, of not wondering when her next meal would arrive, if it would arrive.
Having lived like that, you might think that Panda wouldn't be very fond of people, but the opposite is true. She's soooo sweet, and she likes other dogs, too. We aren't sure about cats, yet. She'll need people who are patient and willing to give her time to learn what living in a real, loving home is all about. We think an adult-only home, or one with older kids, would be best. It's a whole new world for her, but she's ready. Just a little heads up: Panda's going to curl up right next to you, so get ready for her!
