Colby is a 40lb Husky mix with the best personality! She is affectionate, silly, playful, and absolutely loves being close to her people. Whether she's curled up next to you, cruising on a car ride, or exploring the neighborhood on a sniff walk, she's happiest when she's spending time with her favorite humans. She is house-trained and sleeps quietly through the night. She has quickly picked up basic commands and walks well on a leash. She loves to play with stuffed animals, but her favorite thing is just sitting next to you, getting love.
Her story began when she was found in a neighbor's yard after having been hit by a car. She suffered a severe fracture to one of her hind legs and required extensive veterinary care. Thanks to months of treatment, rest, and recovery, she has made remarkable progress and requires no special daily care. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Currently, she would do best as the only pet in the home.
After everything she has been through, all she wants is a safe home and people to love her!
