Meet Tigre!

A gentle three-year-old Shepherd mix currently in San Diego, CA, whose essence is quiet devotion wrapped in a handsome brown brindle coat with soft white accents.

This big-hearted boy, weighing around 80 pounds, is full of sweetness, smarts, and soulful charm! Tigre is looking for a new loving home after the loss of his beloved pet parent, a chapter of change that hasn’t dimmed his kind spirit. Now in a caring foster home, it’s clear that Tigre is a devoted companion who thrives on connection, affection, and the simple joys of being by someone’s side.

Tigre absolutely adores people and delights in soft playtime and snuggles! Though he has a playful streak (especially when there's a ball involved!), he’s not in a hurry to return the ball once he’s caught it, just one of his many endearing quirks. He is moderately active, enjoying daily walks and gentle play balanced with plenty of time to relax and unwind.

He’s already house-trained, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Tigre has been attending training classes, where his intelligence shines through. He knows commands like "come," "sit," and "stay," and he’s eager to keep learning, especially when treats or praise are involved! Walks, Nylabones, and belly-up naps are among his favorite daily pleasures, and he especially loves to sleep on his back like the relaxed, happy pup he is. Tigre does great in the car, enjoys walking around the park, and is very good in public.

While he doesn’t do well with cats, he’s a calm and adaptable pup who settles easily into routines and doesn’t show signs of stress when left alone for short periods. As Tigre transitions into a new home, he will need time to acclimate to his new environment, allowing trust and comfort to build at his own gentle pace. Above all, Tigre needs a family that will treat him with the same tenderness and devotion he so naturally gives. His gentle loyalty and loving presence make him the kind of companion who quickly becomes part of your heart.
