Meet Teddy At just 10 weeks old, Teddy is very young and has plenty of growing, learning, and socializing ahead of him. Cocker Spaniels are generally affectionate, friendly, playful, intelligent, and eager to please. They tend to be very people-oriented and can make wonderful companions for families who want an active dog who also enjoys plenty of affection and time with their people. As a young puppy, he will need lots of patience and guidance while learning how to navigate the world. Adopters should expect normal puppy behaviors including chewing, accidents, play biting, barking, and needing frequent potty breaks. The right home He would do well with a family who is ready to be actively involved in his life and provide: Age-appropriate exercise, play, and mental enrichment Consistent, positive training and socialization Plenty of companionship and interaction Patience with house training and other normal puppy behaviors Regular grooming and ear care Structure and consistency as he grows He may not be the best fit for someone looking for a very calm dog or one who can immediately spend long periods of time alone. Alternatively, we offer a $100 reimbursement if you prefer to use your own primary veterinarian for alteration surgery.
