Meet ribbon
Medical notes:
- Ribbon is ambulatory on all four limbs but has a wide-based back leg stance
- luxating right hind hip
- no anal/tail muscle tone
- waiting for scheduling of an orthopedic consult and are anticipating a recommendation of amputation of her right hind limb.
If, as with previous puppies, the evaluating orthopedist does not recommend surgical intervention (likely an amputation) until Ribbon is 6-8 months old; this will be the responsibility of her adopters if adopted before this timeframe.
