Meet marley
“ Marley just might be the sweetest and snuggliest dog you’ll ever meet. The couch with her people is her happy place, but she also sleeps without a peep in her kennel through the night. She is food-motivated and a very quick learner, so training has been easy, even for us as first-time dog foster parents. She doesn’t love the Chicago cold, but once she gets going, she walks nicely on the leash. She is non-reactive to other dogs at a distance (even when they bark at her on walks!) but she would prefer to be doted on as the only dog of her household. She’s also a bit of a fashionista; she loves her pink sweater and sits nicely while having her paws wiped clean after walks! Weighing about 30 lbs, Marley would do well in a small apartment (like ours) or a house with a yard—she doesn’t need much to be happy, just a cozy spot to curl up with you!”
