Here is what her heat wave foster had to say about her:
Bluebell loves people she meets right away which speaks for her trusting and gentle personality. She melted into our hands on the first day and opened up almost instantly. Don’t let her anxiety at the shelter stand in the way - she absolutely blooms in a calm environment of a home and with a fraction of your patience.
Bluebell sleeps through the night in her crate with no accidents, waits patiently for you and is very respectful of the home (especially if there are toys to play with). She learned the new potty routine in just 24 hours and responded so well to verbal praise (needless to say she’ll be easy to train since she loves her treats!). She has a calmer and gentle personality and is mildly active - your typical bully demeanor of a perfect couch potato! She is affectionate and likes to give kisses and cuddle and can be very goofy:)
Bluebell is friendly with people and shows no interest in other dogs on the walks.
She’ll be happy to work on her prey drive with little help to redirect her excitement. She was doing much better in just 2 days!
Bluebell is cat tested and was curious and polite to our resident cats even when they hissed and growled at her.
Bluebell loves treats, a cozy place to nap, scratches (her big happy smile can attest to that!) and will benefit from a steady, calm at first routine to showcase her smart and sweet personality. She needs someone to give her a chance and lots of love!
We love her with our whole hearts after just 3 days spent together and believe she’ll find a loving home she deserves very soon!
