Meet moka
Meet Moka — a beautiful tripod girl with the sweetest soul and loving personality. Moka, who hails from Mexico, has overcome a lot in her life, but you’d never know it from her gentle spirit. Incredibly affectionate, she's happiest when she’s close to her people. Whether you’re cooking in the kitchen, working in another room, or relaxing on the couch, Moka will quietly follow along just to be near you. Moka seems to be completely house trained and gently nudges your hand and looks toward the door to indicate she needs to go outside. Despite having lived on the streets and in a shelter for perhaps most of her life, she makes herself at home and can stay alone while watching TV without having any accidents in the house.
Because Moka is still adjusting to life as a tripod, she’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who can give her the time she needs. Sometimes she needs to pause and take breaks while finding the perfect spot to do her business. Ideally, she should be in a one-story house without stairs or a raised ranch with carpeted stairs as slippery stairs — especially going down — can be challenging for tripod dogs. Moka would thrive in a home with her own fenced-in yard as she loves to lay in the grass and smell the air, look up in the sky and watch the birds and squirrels.
Moka adores people and loves companionship. She needs to be the only dog in the home so she can get all the attention she deserves. More than anything, Moka is looking for a loving home where she can feel safe, supported, and part of the family.
