Her name is Moo, but we're pretty sure she's not a cow. We think she's a Rat Terrier mix. She's about a year and a half old, weighs around 9 pounds, and is a cute, petite little girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people.

Moo is happiest when she's by your side. She loves attention and forms a close bond with her person, so she's looking for someone who wants a loyal little shadow. While she gets along with other dogs, she would likely prefer to be the only dog in the home so she doesn't have to share your affection.

She was surrendered through no fault of her own after her family no longer had the time to care for her. Now she's ready to find someone who will make her part of the family forever.

Moo is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Because of her small size and her preference for a quieter home, we think she would do best in an adult home or one with older, respectful children.

If you're looking for a sweet little companion who will happily be your constant sidekick, Moo may be the perfect match.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!

2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.

3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)

4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
