Teddy is a 10 month old Australian Shepherd mix who is looking for his forever home. Originally from Alabama, Teddy was adopted by a family in New Jersey, but due to circumstances beyond their control, they were unable to keep him. He's now safe with us and ready for his next chapter.

At about 40 pounds, Teddy is a handsome boy with a gorgeous brindle and white coat. He's sweet, happy, and loves being around people. As an added bonus, Teddy is being fostered by one of our favorite dog trainers, so he will be fully trained and ready to succeed in his new home.

Teddy would love an active family that can give him plenty of exercise, attention, and love. If you're looking for a young, affectionate companion to share life's adventures, Teddy may be the perfect match for you!

ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!

2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.

3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)

4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
