Meet keira
Our family is desperately searching for a loving forever home for our dog, Keira.We adopted Keira in May 2025 after she was abandoned at the veterinary clinic where I worked. She was severely neglected, underweight, and in poor health, likely after years of breeding.With patience and love, she became an affectionate, gentle dog who loves cuddles. Sadly, on February 16, 2026, while we were at the hospital for the birth of our son, my mother accidentally startled Keira awake. Keira reacted with a sleep-startle bite.For our newborn's safety, we are paying to board Keira at a rescue we trust. But the boarding costs are extreme and we are afraid that we can't sustain this. She needs a forever home and a loving family/owner.Keira is 8 years old, 90-95 pounds, and would thrive in a calm home with no children under the age of 10. She’s a loving dog who has had a hard life and deserves a second chance at joy and love!
