Meet Cub!This 50lb, 2-year-old, German Shepherd mix came to the shelter as a stray, and he`s still adjusting to all the sights and sounds of kennel life. The busy environment and loud noises can make him a little nervous, and he seems unsure around the other dogs here. Because of that, Cub appreciates people who are willing to take things slow and let him build confidence at his own pace.Once he`s out in the play yard, a different side of Cub shines through! He`s incredibly friendly and enjoys spending time with his people. Toss a toy, and he`ll happily chase after it—even if he`s not too interested in bringing it back or playing with it for long. His favorite part is really just being with you.One of Cub`s sweetest traits is how talkative he is. Chat with him, and he`ll `talk` right back, making conversations with him both entertaining and endearing.Cub is looking for a patient family who will help him feel safe and loved while he settles into a home. With a little time and understanding, this sweet, chatty boy is sure to become a wonderful companion.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
