Murphy may be a quiet guy, but his love is loud! In his foster home he has proven himself to be a gentle pup with a calm and mild energy level, and while he can be a bit shy at first, he quickly warms up to people and pets.

Murphy has also interacted with small dogs and cats so far and he has been very well-mannered. So he would thrive in a home with existing pets but would also be perfectly content as the sole focus of affection! When meeting new people, he greets them with a sunny demeanor, a wagging tail, and happily accepts cuddles.

Murphy enjoys car rides, walks well on leash, and sleeps soundly through the night. Though he’s still getting the hang of stairs, he’s making progress with a little encouragement—almost to the top!

With beautiful hazel eyes and a unique dusty brindle coat, Murphy is sure to return all the love he receives tenfold!

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it’s not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.
