Meet daniel
Meet Daniel, a 2 yr young Bulldog mix. Shelter life has been especially hard on this sweet guy. When Daniel first meets new people, he can be a little unsure. But give him a little patience, a few tasty treats, and a gentle scratch on his back, and you’ll watch his walls slowly come down. Before long, he’s seeking out affection, leaning in for reassurance, and showing you the soft, loving dog he’s always been. While he’s still learning appropriate social skills with other dogs, we believe much of what we’re seeing is the result of stress. He’ll need an experienced adopter who can help him continue building confidence and teach him the world isn’t such a scary place. Daniel doesn’t need perfection, he just needs someone willing to believe in him. After all, sometimes the dogs who need a little extra patience end up loving the biggest.
