My name is Major Perfect, and I'm a handsome 20-pound guy who's around 4 years old. I'm looking for my forever personsomeone who wants a loyal best friend, walking buddy, couch companion, and all-around sidekick.

I'll be honest right up front: I'm the jealous type. Other dogs? Not really my thing. I don't mind walking past them on my daily adventures, but let's keep it movingI'm not interested in stopping for a meet-and-greet. I'd much rather have all your attention to myself. Because of this, I need to be the only dog in the home, or with an adopter who has experience managing dog-aggressive dogs and understands my boundaries.

Now that we've got that out of the way, let me tell you why I'm such a catch. I absolutely adore people and am happiest when I'm spending time with my humans. I'm house-trained, know my basic commands, and have all the qualities of an ideal roommate. No drama, no late rent paymentsjust unconditional love and plenty of companionship.

My story started when I came to rescue as a finder surrender. After 30 days of searching, my owner was never found, so now I'm ready for a fresh start and a family to call my own.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
