Meet syphon
Syphon is a spayed, 46lbs, 5 year old Aussie mix. She is in need of a new home due to her current humans’ chronic health conditions that are now incongruent with her daily needs. She likes attention on her terms, loves to swim, chew on sticks, not destructive in the home, and loves her personal space to relax. She communicates well-albeit subtly-with body language. She lived with other pets a few years ago, but may do best as an only pet now. She loves blueberries, especially if she can pick them herself! Important behavior history to note: Due to her breed and personality, she has been preemptively muzzle trained and crate trained. She has developed joint pain, which has increased her dog reactivity, sound sensitivity, and resource guarding. Pain medication, counter conditioning, and reduction of dog interaction have reduced these behaviors significantly, but not totally. A herding breed and fear free training experienced guardian is necessary for her continued success and wellbeing.
