Meet gus
Gus has been our buddy for the last 6+ years. He’s an athlete, snuggly, goofy, and very food motivated. We adore him.
Gus had a hard first year or so of life, which has made him reactive and needing time to warm up to strangers in his home. He’s made new friends and he loves getting treats, he just needs slow intros and time to get to know people.
He had one bite incident in his first year before we adopted him, and one shortly after. Both food related incidents. No other incidents in last 5+ years.
We are expecting a second baby which makes it too difficult for us to have time to make sure Gus is feeling comfortable and that we can make sure everyone is safe. We have decided to look to rehome Gus to find a family that can give him the very best life.
He has done really really great with our first who is now almost 3 although the best fit for him would be a child and other pet free home. He does get along with some dogs though at parks.
