Meet charlie
Charlie is a high energy dog best suited to a single family home with a large fenced yard or a home with acreage. He looks like a lab, but has Great Pyrenees working dog needs. He was a surprise gift to my wife 6 years ago as a service-dog-in-training, but unfortunately she had to return him to the breeder shortly after due to having to relocate. He unexpectedly returned to her when he was dumped and picked up by animal control 2 years ago -- his chip had not been updated when she surrendered him. Initially my wife was training him to be a service dog and had his qualification test lined up (prior to the initial relocation), so he comes housebroken and "half trained" - he needs some reinforcement training. We're looking to rehome him now due to relocating again, this time from California to the Portland, OR area. We had to downsize from a 3000 sqft home to an 800 sqft apartment, and he is struggling to acclimate to apartment life. He has shown some anxiety, but no aggressive behaviors.
