Meet birdie
Birdie is a 6-year-old female Border-collie mix. She works hard to be the very best dog possible. She loves to be near her people, and she never misses an opportunity to bring over a toy and play fetch. She has been a wonderful dog for us as a couple, but now with our young child she no longer has an ideal home life. Birdie is extremely smart and wants to please. We envision Birdie living her best life in a home that allows her opportunities to be highly active and to use those amazing smarts, while the home is mostly calm and feels safe for her. She is highly trainable. She does well on walks/hikes/runs, tends to pull a bit but easily corrected with reminders. She is well trained in the house and follows commands. She is anxious and can be reactive with small grows towards dogs and children, with a history of fear-based reactivity and a strong prey drive. She cannot be in a home with children or with small or reactive/high energy dogs (best if she's the only dog). So LOVEABLE!
