Meet bear
šØ RESCUE NEEDED: BEAR (āTumornatorā) šØ
Bear has officially made it off stray holdābut now he needs a way OUT. And he needs it soon.
This 4ā5 year old, 65-pound, long-haired hunk came into the shelter carrying more than just a rough past. He has a very large mass on his abdomen (with a smaller one alongside it), along with matting and significant hair lossāclear signs he hasnāt had the care he deserves.
What he needs now is a rescue partner who can step in and get him the medical attention he urgently needs.
Because despite all of thatā¦ Bear is incredibly gentle.š
He may be a little hesitant at first, but it doesnāt take long. Once he realizes heās safe, he leans in for soft pets, tail wagging, soaking up every bit of kindness. Heās an easy walker, happy to stroll alongāthough he may pause here and there, likely because that mass makes longer distances uncomfortable. A little encouragement, and heās right back with you.
He also seems to enjoy other dogsāperking up with tail wags when he sees them pass by. š¾

Bear doesnāt just need placementāhe needs a soft place to land where he can heal. The shelter is no place for a dog who needs this level of care and comfort.
