Meet cheerio

**currently being fostered in WA and ready for meet and greets!**

This cutie is Cheerio Cereal. She is around 9 months old, and while we think she may be a German Shepherd mix, with rescue it is always a guess. What we do know for sure is that she is an incredibly sweet, social, and adaptable puppy who has been thriving in her foster home.

Cheerio is playful, curious, and cuddly, with a lovely balance of puppy energy and an off switch. She enjoys hiking adventures with her foster and would make a great little outdoor buddy, but she is just as happy settling in for naps and cuddle time. She is crate trained and does very well with routine, which has been a great foundation for her continued training.

One of the most special things about Cheerio is how social and gentle she is. She regularly visits a senior home with her foster, where she happily greets new people and soaks up the attention. She is friendly with both big and small dogs and is especially impressive with tiny pups. Cheerio regularly plays with a 5 lb dog and does an amazing job adjusting her play style to match her tiny friend, showing just how thoughtful and kind she is.

Cheerio is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog.

If you are looking for a sweet, social puppy who can be both a hiking buddy and a gentle companion, Cheerio might be the perfect fit. Expect plenty of kisses and love from your new best friend.
