Blossom is ready to shine—and she truly lives up to her beautiful name! This tiny 4-pound female Havanese pup is as sweet as they come. She absolutely adores being with her people and has a calm, loving nature that makes her the perfect companion.

Blossom is very treat-motivated, which has made her potty training fairly easy but still a way to go since she is a very young puppy. She sleeps soundly in her crate with her foster sisters nearby and has a great appetite—mealtime is one of her favorite parts of the day! While she’s still getting to know the adult foster dogs, she approaches them with gentle curiosity and kindness.

A true lap puppy at heart, Blossom is happiest snuggled up close. She’s content to sit calmly on her person’s lap while they work and equally relaxed resting in her safe, gated space when needed. She’s currently teething, so she benefits from having plenty of appropriate toys to chew on.

Blossom has also begun learning to go on short walks and is adjusting well to her harness and leash. With her affectionate personality and easygoing temperament, she’s a joy to have around.

Because of her tiny size, Blossom could easily get underfoot and become a tripping hazard. For this reason, she would do best in a home without toddlers or individuals with mobility challenges.

Blossom is truly a little bundle of love, ready to bring warmth, cuddles, and happiness to her forever home. 💕

Leia’s Hope is a volunteer-run, foster-based rescue. All of our dogs live in foster homes. Applications typically take 7-10 business days to process, meet and greets are scheduled only after an application is approved. We do not transport dogs; adopters must travel to the dogs location in Troy, MO for meet and greats and adoption.

Blossom is a 15 year commitment, and her adopter must be prepared to love and support her for her lifetime.
