Wilber is a 2.5-year-old purebred Basset Hound with a big personality and an even bigger heart. We’ve had him since he was just 8 weeks old, and he is truly one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you’ll meet. He’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of goofy charm—he loves to make his people laugh.
Willie is a high-energy Basset who enjoys playing with balls, chewing on bones, and treats. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit and stay. When he’s comfortable, his fun, silly personality really shines.
Wilber would do best in a home where he can be the center of attention. He thrives when he’s getting lots of love and consistency. He is not a good fit for homes with other male dogs or children, as he can be anxious and has shown resource guarding behaviors. Because of this, he needs an experienced and patient owner who understands dog behavior and is willing to continue working with him.
